 - Sebastian Fuchs

Always being fascinated by music and rhythms, Sebastian Fuchs began his career in a school band. But he was actually looking for something else to set free his creative mind. So he got in contact with Hip Hop/ Break and other genres that he dealed with on his computer. At the age of 16 he felt that his creative mind, referring to these genres above, was exhausted. Fortunately, that’s the reason he began dealing with electronic music. While Sebastian Fuchs produced more and more music, his style changed but finally found its place between Techno and Minimal. He never really assessed only on one style. Today, it’s the production of minimal Techno which is primary for the 27- year old musician. Producing remixes with artists like MIKALOGIC (Hush Rec./ Portugal) or Robin Hirte (Trutz Rec.) he could obviously show the world his competences as DJ. At the beginning of 2009, Sebastian Fuchs and his partner, the both are also known as Channel Nine, “rocked” with some other DJs regional Clubs. Especially for spreading their music. It was a successful year for them and furthermore, they attracted a lot of attention. Being the residents of “Party- Ersatz- Amt”, they sent the crowd into raptures. When in 2010, Ubl joined the Duo, they rocked in a threesome several clubs in the county. Being guest DJ in the Sunset- Club, Electric Field or in the Katapult- Club, he met a lot of international and important musicians, i.e. Chris Liebing, Timo Maas, Felix Kröcher, Gayle San or Tony Rohr. Not playing less than 130bpm, which is typical of the young man from Karlsruhe, he always sets plenty of value on creativity referring to his DJ- Sets. And they get even more boosted by using big beats from the fields of “Sound” and “Effect”. This all can be seen as features of changing, but at the same time, in proper style. The last three years as Resident of Channel Nine have been giving him the chance to review proudly some wonderful Open Air events and L abelnights. And these, of course, will be unforgettable for Crowd and him.
