Martina Kay

Martina Kay was born in Czechoslovakia residing in Finland since 2000. She started her studies at prestigious Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen in 2011 expecting to become graduated certified singer / CVT teacher in 2014.First studio work was collaboration with hip-hop band N.N.P and their debut single “Jazz funkee style” released in 1994 by EMI(Polygram) where she helped with backing vocals and harmonies giving right R&B touch to it. Her unique voice was immediately recognized by rising star of Slovak dance floor band D’Night and cooperation resulted in summer hit in 1996 with song “You cannot cry” on their second Album.Her own solo musical career really started in duo QWEL in 1997 where she fulfilled role of leading singer and songwriter. Debut single of duo QWEL “Bring me the Happiness”
