AU-1 is the tech house side project from Thomas Gold. The famed German producer has roots in the the house and techno scene and AU-1 allows him to once again explore underground sounds.The echoing and tribal tech house sounds of AU-1’s debut single “Oh Yo Bah” - released in early-summer 2018 on Mark Knight’s acclaimed Toolroom imprint - sets the precedent for AU-1's signature sound. Following that up, AU-1 breathed new life into the Lee Cabrera & Thomas Gold classic “Shake It” with a spectacular remix.Looking further down the road, expect a bevy of new AU-1 releases and remixes, in addition to the launch of his very own label with a mission to break the new generation of German underground talent.
