Creative contrasts build the base here. Richard Hötter grew up playing piano and organ, while Philipp Lenz approached first Heavy Metal and then Techno through his older brother. At a young age Lenz made his first experience with Roland-built MC 303 and 505. He studied sound engineering and works as an audio engineer in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. Hötter and him got to know each other through Richard’s elder brother. They instantly noticed their common passion for eclectic sounds. Lenz though takes care of the techniques at Shayde, while Hötter contributes harmonies. Both of them refuse to be put in any musical corset.
