Manuel Sofia was born in Buenos Aires,Argentina in 1981. He had played live and as a dj in countries such as Germany (Home 14, Love Parade, Fusion Festival, Triple A, Tshitraka Festival), United States (Sullivan Room NYC), France (Batofar, Fête de la Musique Bazook), Canada (Eclipse Festival), Brazil (Pacha SP, Sirena), México (Hookah, Rioma, Time & Space Fest) , Spain (City Hall, Núcleo, Otto Zutz), Poland, Portugal (Flow at Faktory, PSP), Turkey (Republic), Belgium (Cherry Moon), Greece (Luv), Slovenia (Escape Club), Switzerland (Kumquat at Supermarket), Paraguay and Uruguay. Manuel also has been honored to play in festivals like Creamfields Buenos Aires in 2001 / 2008 / 2011, Eclipse Festival in Canada, Love Parade Festival and Fusion Festival (2008) in Germany and Time & Space,Atmosphere and Traffic in Mexico (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012).Under his own name and also the moniker of "MOS", Manuel has signed and released tracks and remixes to labels such as Natura Sonoris, Sudbeat, Hope Records, Flow Records, Audiotherapy, Global Underground, Proton, Sprout Germany, Electribe, Noizen, Beef Records, Swift, Acute, Pissed Off, Off Side, Vivid Trax, Vapour, Vapourize, Maktub, Politik and Mashtronic. His music has been played and supported by wordlwide renowned djs such as: Sasha, Hernán Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Tiësto, Satoshi Tomiie, D-Nox, Funk D’Void, Oliver Klein, Dave Mothersole, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz, Jodi Wisternoff, Slacker, G-Pal, Jim Rivers and Guy J among many others.He had the privilege of being part of tracklists in numerous compilations like: Hernán Cattaneo Master Series Parallel [Renaissance], Hernán Cattaneo Sequential 1 [Renaissance], Dave Seaman Master Series [Renaissance], Audio T herapy: Spring/Summer 2008 mixed by Jim Rivers [Audio Therapy], Kosmas Epsilon & Luke Chable Addicted [Platipus], G-Pal 1 [Swift], G-Pal contra Anna Maria X [Swift] and Prime Cuts [Beef Records].After hosting a monthly show called “Groupies Ears Bomber” at Frisky Radio with past guests Guy J, Chaim, Plass, Soundexile, Elias Tzikas and Baudelaire, Manuel had been asked to join Delta FM 90.3 and teamed up Delta Club crowd to deliver a monthly radio show broadcasted every 4th wednesday of the month from 2011 - 2013.
