Animos

Since childhood, Lucas Mella and Juan Ignacio Vásquez formed their first band, influenced by genres such as progressive and alternative rock. They started playing in several places in Buenos Aires, where they got involved with many different musicians and, receiving influence from new and abstract ways of mixing music, developed an interest in electronic music and its technologies. This drive lead them to form a music band with those characteristics, moving to Valencia city and creating ANIMOS. The term Animos o Animus comes from latin and means encouragement, soul, the spirit that drives imagination and movement; likewise, it reminds of courage, effort, will, desire, plan. Influence by several discographic labels suchs as Afterlife and Drumcode, as well as the music from their origins, ANIMOS gets into de Techno scene by creating music with heavenly melodies, unpredictable beats and
