DJ / Producer Joris Turenhout has been hooked to techno since he was 18 years old. When he first listened to techno during Amsterdam Dance Event he knew that techno is his passion. Started in his own home in Amsterdam he developed the skills to become a DJ. This was noticed by many promoters and has led to DJ-performances within the whole country. The crowd will immediately feel and know when Joris Turenhout is entering his playground. The characteristics of his DJ sets are known to have melodic elements with a dark ambience behind it. Besides being a DJ, Joris Turenhout is a succesfull producer who has been releasing music on the Amsterdam based label Airborne Black.
