Dj/composer, label manager and promoter for more than 25 years, François Lebaron co-founded the Canadian imprint Trigger Recording which was the first independent Canadian electronic music label under license with Warner Music Canada Co. Lebaron's groundbreaking style is the result of many influences he took in the 90's while producing some iconic Montreal underground raves and inviting artists such as Terry Lee Brown Jr, Thomas Shumacher, Christian Smith and Woody McBride just to name a few. In 2002, Lebaron released a concept album in collaboration with Swedish trickster Håkan Lidbo entitled "Fishingindeeparea" (Trigger/Warner). This pivotal album gave Lebaron much wider exposure, which quickly stapled him as a key figure in the Canadian Electronic Music industry.
