DJ, producer and Sisters in Sound co-founder Fátima is on a mission to democratize dance music. Born in Mexico and based in the US, Fátima started DJing in 2017, driven by the lack of women behind the booth. Six years later and she’s toured the US and Mexico, sharing her unique blend of driving, earthy and bold genres, from world beats to indie dance, at bucket list venues and festivals, including Elsewhere in New York, Treehouse in Miami and Flash Club in Washington D.C. She simultaneously runs Sisters in Sound, a women-led collective focused on empowering diverse artists in music.
