COTU [Citizen of the universe] COTU, was born and raised in the Far East of Russia but always felt like he had the right to live as a Citizen of the Universe. Following his curiosity and hunger for adventure, he went to live in Thailand, where his friends organized the SIMIRAM festival(Koh Phangan), that’s when COTU discovered and fell in love with electronic music. He continued on his journey of sound exploration in the USA. He’s been since performing across all the states, from underground warehouse parties in LA, iconic Clinic Wednesdays , Minimal Effort at Globe Theater , staple California events like Deseract, Festivals in the Mojave Desert, the Burning Man Playa in Nevada (House of Love, Luna art Crane), to playing for the Florida-born Do Not Sit On
