5volts is the unique merger of technology and music following the synthesizer music tradition. A one man live act, the drum machine and 303 driven rhythmscreated by Varun Desai throb beneath improvised analog synthwork and digitalatmospheres reminiscint of classic Techno, Ambient, Krautrock and Berlin school synthesists.With a 15 year career as a promoter, label manager, producer, designer & video artist, Varun Desai’s culture work has taken him from Burning Man to Berghain, and as a DJ to tour Poland, Switzerland, Portugal, Nepal and India.
