VANDERAART

VANDERAART (Mark van der Aart is a Dutch native and based producer/DJ. Growing up with a wide range of music made him open minded to all genres. But, as a 80's kid, he fell in love with the unique sound of synths and 8-bit game music. The sound of VANDERAART has an overall dark, underworld, mysterious sound, combined with clean and straightforward percussion. While living in Bali (Indonesia) for 2 years VANDERAART came in contact with Happyghost and Hopscotch. Both label owners of Aathee Records. Right there on the magical island a collab formed the first EP. The EP No Clue was a fact in 2018. Live jamming and recording, inspired by the islands energy, were a daily event. This release made VANDERAART realize his passion for electronic music.
