As playful as it is emotional, Isa Gordon’s music combines ethereal electronic programming and defiant live instrumentation into tracks that are both sparse and dense, meditative yet pensive, but always with musicality and soul. Her idiosyncratic style tips its hat to her diverse sphere of musical influence, a puckish dance between club, folk, punk, electronica and everything in-between but never sitting still . A sonic joker who champions intuition over categorisation. The Ayrshire born artist moved to Glasgow in 2011, hometown of the legendary Optimo Music label, who released her acclaimed debut album “For You Only” in 2022. As well as being a solo producer she operates as a serial collaborator, singer and live performer.
