Giovanni began his recording career in the 90s when he was signed to Sire Records. Seymour Stein, the president of Sire/Warner Bros. Records, discovered him after hearing a recording of Giovanni's song 'Running Man,' which delivered a Euro pop dance vibe and was popular on the club circuit. The song is now considered a cult classic. Following this success, he was immediately signed and went on to record 'Girl In My Eyes,' selling over 500,000 singles. After a 20-year hiatus from the music business, Giovanni was recently brought back into the spotlight by EDM producer Maceo Plex with a single titled 'Revision,' written and performed by Giovanni Gonzalez.
