Nicola Favilli, aka Atreiu ( The NeverEnding Story!) was born in L’Aquila in 1983 and moved as a child to Florence, the city that has since adopted him as one of its own.
As he grew up, Nicola’s family had an eclectic musical taste and thanks to his elder sister, Alessia, Nicola was always updated on the latest musical trends and the spark which ignited his love for music had begun. Nicola began creating unlikely mixes by recording 90s dance music from the radio on to cassettes and by the age of 14, his parents, had entrusted him with an old mixer from a family friend with nothing more than three volume controls, a home hi- turntable and and a second inherited from his grandmother.
