Allen (US)

Drawing heavy influence from science fiction, U.S.-based techno artist Allen’s productions cast light upon his vision of the future. He was first drawn to DJing by Hip Hop, and the allure of mixing and scratching records led to the purchase of his first set of turntables at the age of 18. Soon thereafter, inspired by the New York City rave scene in the late 90s, he began to DJ and produce Drum & Bass and was naturally drawn to the heavy textures and complex rhythms of the Techstep and Neurofunk sub-genres. After ten years of immersion in the world of DnB, Allen began his organic transition to techno, leading to his debut release: a heavily supported 12” vinyl EP on the respected Italian imprint M_REC LTD in 2014.
