Guru head honcho Klosman returns to his own imprint with a typically addictive and distinctive bass-driven workout. Build around wildly tumbling basslines and a deep, succulent groove, "Wessaoue" has plenty of underground energy but still manages to maintain a playful, party vibe that infiltrates the synapses and fizzes the brain into some heads-down, floor action.
Chopped up vocal edits, firing synths, spacey FX and snapping drums provide the mesh over the deep, fluid bassline that runs beneath right from the start of the track. The bass feels thick and full of power, but flows with a natural ease as the punchy beats deliver purpose and momentum. As the track evolves, a rising acid aesthetic injects greater intensity and ramps up the tempo to create this bristling, monster of a club bomb.
