Vera is the nom du plume of Copenhagen’s William Asingh. Vera’s long-standing production work for the likes of city peers Off Bloom, LISS, and MØ (Vera produced three tracks on her 2017 ‘When I Was Young EP’) makes him the producer of choice for everything exciting and emerging from Copenhagen’s music scene today. Introducing himself back in the Spring of 2017 with the laissez-faire, sultry ‘In And Out Of Love’, smartly followed by a second single, ‘Falling’ (featuring Okay Kaya), over the seven tracks that formed his debut EP ‘Good Job, No Conversation’, it’s a distinct and smooth yet unclassifiable sound that makes Vera stand out, both in his home country Denmark and on a global scale.
