- Miami Posh

Kadir and Bastian were not really looking but nevertheless found each other in spring 2011. They actually met by chance on the internet and video portal youtube. The channel focusing on electronic music brought the two DJs & producers together. Their common music interest developed into friendship and their mission became : House music. They collected know-how , set a common goal and created a fitting name : MIAMI POSH - a name that stands for sophisticated dancefloor music. Their souls were full of music and a vision was in their heads but it was clear for the two artists that success is the outcome of hard work and can sometimes mean sacrifice. The 500 kilometers separating Kadir and Bastian were not really a long-term option. A duo has to be together. So one of them made the move and the 500 km dissolved into 200 meters. Their music is just as direct as that - going from the ear directly to the heart and from there directly through the whole body. That’s them - MIAMI POSH. That’s their music. Each track has its own mission, must fit perfectly and fulfill a purpose. These guys are not in for compromise – either good or nothing ! Their style: They want to achieve more than a danceable beat with their productions. They really want to move their listeners. Their songs are today and consist of the sounds of the moment. Their background knowledge of harmony, melody and rhythm flows into their work while adapting to the needs of the international House scene. Their sets: MIAMI POSH sets are unique! Each track has its emotional purpose from smooth to upliftin’ to pumpin’, vocal, deep, techy or progressive. The right track, chosen at the right moment, brings the right kind of mood and Miami Posh chooses with delicate care. When the time has come and the dance-floor is ready, then and only then, do they transform the atmosphere to the highest level of ecstasy that music can take you to. Even though the guys have just united to Miami Posh, both of them look back upon a reservoir of experience as DJs as well as producers. There have been gigs with Felix da Housecat, Syke ‘n’ Sugarstarr, Ian Carey, Chocolate Puma, Tune Brothers and DJ Antoine , just to name some. And they have not only worked with renowned artists but also for them as ghostwriters. At the moment, they are fully focused on their productions and first releases are due soon. Facebook fan-page, twitter and, most of all, soundcloud are supporting the guys. Especially soundcloud is equipping a platform for their current work as well as their House mix series “Keep on Dancin” which is uploaded the first of every month.
