Meneo

Rigo Pex, better known as Meneo is a musicologist and performer born in Guatemala and living in Madrid.At the age of 18 he starts studying musicology and organizing soirées of contemporary art. He co-creates Tripnótica, the first electronic music collective in his country. When he was 21 he won the most important prize in the young category for his project Democracia Sonora: a sample of voices captured in the city and remixed by the local djs.Five years later, he co-founds a gallery-café under the name of SUAE. It was special for being a platform for a whole generation of creators.
