- Jac The Disco

Bio:

London based DJ & Producer Jay Rossi, aka Jac The Disco has spent the last 10 years DJing all over London and beyond.Fresh from the success of his last project (the Highest Heights EP, which was released on US label Wonder Stories in January 2018 and hit Number 1 on Juno’s Disco Chart the following month has again returned to the world of production with the carefully executed ‘Inversions EP’’ which signed to San Fransisco’s Roam Recordings. The EP itself features remixes from Man Power & Lauer and has gained notable DJ support from the likes of KZA, Job Jobse, Tensnake, Solomon, Peter Herbert, Tiger & Woods, B.traits, and Sean Johnston to name just a few.Rossi’s back on the grind and this time his output is a bit moodier, a bit more internal in its focus. Be prepared to look inwards to your soul.Originally hailing from The UK’s South Coast and of French, Italian, UK decent, Rossi was first exposed to electronic music during the early 90s and frequented clubs where the likes of Sasha, Terry Farley and Clive Henry were regular features and learnt his trade through listening and observing the djs at work.In short Rossi is a dj first and producer second, which has left him with an instinctive grasp of what works on the dance floor. Rossi’s dj style along with his ability to read the dance floor to which he calls “dance floor dynamics” enables him to work the crowd either warming up with sleazy laid back grooves or ramping things up into peak-time misbehaviour and up into the stratosphere via his eclectic cosmic nu disco acidic sound.
