Daniel Blackman

Born and bred Yorkshireman, Daniel Blackman, abandoned his career in London’s financial city for a love of electronic music. Years of incredibly early mornings, late nights, slow-building hard work and dedication to learning his musical craft have led to his first release ‘Tales of Persia’ on Matador’s prestigious ‘RUKUS’ label. Expect to be taken on an immersive and evocative journey when listening to his productions and DJ sets. Expect playful and melodic beats with pulsating basslines, curious riffs and swinging grooves. After many years raving on the dancefloors of the world, from Ibiza, Miami, Manchester, London, Berlin and Europe – forming friendships, relationships and travelling to listen to music, he felt compelled to take his passion to the next level and begin his own life-long pursuit into music
