- Christian Barbuto

Christian Barbuto began listening to dance music in the early 90′s while living in Europe as a competitive cyclist for his native Australia. Having frequented techno clubs in The Netherlands and Belgium the foundation for dance music had been laid. In 1996 Christian came to the United States to the roaring rave scene of San Francisco. Big room sounds of progressive house, techno, funky house and tribal house as well as the soulful smooth house sounds of the S.F club scene, not to mention the deep underground sound of the city's after hours have resulted in Christian’s sound today being an eclectic blend of deep funky organic rhythms. Influenced early on by popular legends Carl Cox and Ritchie Hawtin Christian is now working on crafting his own sound of dark groovy techno and deep tech house in his relatively new home in Austin Texas where he also throws around 50 premier shows per year.
