ChaCha was born in 2005, a fiery Latin Drag Queen character created and performed by actor/singer Aaron Barrera. Best known for her vivacious, larger than life personality, sparkling wit, and nuanced performances, ChaCha has been entertaining live audiences on stages all over the US ever since. She has also graced the TV screen with her glamorous persona, appearing on "Family Jewels” with Gene Simmons, "The Chocolate News” with David Alan Grier, "Chelsea Lately" with Chelsea Handler, “The Mentalist” with Simon Baker, and "Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" with Joan Rivers. ChaCha’s sultry Spanish vocals have been heard in dance clubs around the world since 2007 on her four hits, “Encuerate (Strip)” and “Ritmo” produced by Mark VDH & DJ Alexander, and “Tocame” and “Siente La Energia” produced by Mark VDH. ChaCha also created, wrote and produced her own weekly live drag competition show in Los Angeles, “ChaCha’s Got Talent”, which ran for over a year and gave many young drag performers the opportunity to hone their craft. On the national stage, ChaCha represented the State of California in the National Entertainer of the Year Pageant in Louisville, KY in 2010 where she earned the title of "U.S.Top 10 National Entertainer of the Year".
