BEN PURPLE is a name which sprang from a very long decision phase. The idea for this unusual project came to today’s team of producers one foggy night when everyone else was sleeping. That night Benny Aregger and Pascal Kuhlmann met each other by chance at a private function held at a club in Zurich. Benny performs as a DJ according to the motto “weird and wonderful”, that night he was wearing an eighties tennis out t. He cast a spell over the partygoers through his personality alone. BEN PURPLE emerged on that wild night when Benny was blasting the crème de la crème of Elektrofutter through the speakers including creations from his own music laboratory.
